Self-Tokenization FAQs
Rexall Payments will allow you to safely store your credit card payment information with the Rexall location you specify on the site. Your credit card information will not be seen by employees. The payment information will appear at store level as a series of random characters, called a token. The stored payment information can be used when paying for prescriptions or other Rexall services. This may only be used within Rexall.
No, you will not be charged to use this free service. Rexall Payment provides a convenient way of paying for prescriptions and Rexall services.
You can use your stored payment to pay for prescriptions or other Rexall services. Please call your local Pharmacy for more information.
You are not required to be in-store to use your stored payment, however in order for your stored payment to be used, you must provide identification and authorization over the phone to your pharmacy.
The pharmacy you selected will be informed that you have safely stored your payment information with their location. If you are expecting a prescription delivery or have a pending payment for a service, please contact your Pharmacy.
Once your payment is stored with Rexall it will remain effective as long as your payment method has not expired and/or you have not requested it be removed from the system.
Consent is required in order to give permission for Rexall to store your information. If consent is not provided, you will only be able to pay for your prescriptions and services in-person at your local Rexall Pharmacy.

Only the store you specified during the request will have access to your payment information through a series of random characters at store level. Please complete a new request if you wish to store your payment with another Rexall location.
We collect this information as it is required to authenticate you with your pharmacy profile (if you are paying for prescriptions or pharmacy services). We also use your date of birth as identification verification should you call in for support in the future.

If you require support after business hours, you may submit a request at rexall.ca/contact-us for someone to get back to you during business hours. Please do not include credit card information on this form.
Paying for Prescriptions or Pharmacy services
After storing your payment information on Rexall Payments, please contact your local Rexall Pharmacy and let them know that you want your prescriptions delivered.
Providing an active prescription number allows us to connect your payment with your pharmacy profile in store. Providing your prescription number will improve processing times in store.
The prescription number is a series of numerical digits on your prescription, it is followed by the letters, “Rx”. If you are having trouble, please call your Rexall Pharmacy and they will provide you with a prescription number that you will be able to use.
You can still proceed with storing your payment with Rexall. Once you receive your prescription, it is recommended that you call the Rexall Credit Card Tokenization line at 1-844-382-4021 to add a prescription number to your file. This will improve processing times in store.
Please ensure you are entering an active prescription number found on your prescription. The prescription must be from the store you selected. Also, ensure your date of birth is correct. If you continue to have problems, please contact your pharmacy and they will be able to verify your information.
Secure Payment
Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Visa/MasterCard Debit.
Your credit card information will be replaced by a token, which is made up of a random series of digits and letters. The token can only be used and recognized by Rexall and the financial institution which is facilitating the transaction. The token cannot be reverted back to a credit card number. This information will never be stored in plain text in our systems.
Your credit card will only be used by Rexall to settle your balance for prescriptions or services as agreed to by you and your Pharmacy. Rexall has been Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliant since 2015. All submitted payment card numbers will be converted to a token which is made up of a random series of digits and letters and cannot be used at any other retailer. Rexall will not have access to the actual credit card number after the information is tokenized. Payment information is also safeguarded by other security controls such as Encryption, Firewalls and Antivirus solutions.
Payment information can take up to 15 minutes to process. If the store has not received your payment after 15 minutes, please contact the Pharmacy and they will investigate. Please do not resubmit another request.
